New Year, New Blog

Hey y'all. Which I assume only encompasses three people or so. This post is to let you know that I'm abandoning this blog. It just isn't what I want. Instead I'm moving onto another website. It'll not only encompass things about me, but opinions and other stuff. I'm also not censoring myself in this new blog, I don't feel like that's honest, and I'd like to reach more people than just my family. So yeah. Have a good year. And see you over at Spencer Greenfield's Mind Drippings.

I'm not going to delete this blog, but I'm not gonna update it anymore either. That's just not happening.
So,
HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! So long, 2011.

Christmas and Other Things.

So here's what's been happening so far.

My computer broke down and I had to send it back to the manufacturer. I really hate ASUS for this. This is like the third time my computer has broken down and now I'm not going to be able to use it for at least a month. But it's ok. I got an HP Mini for Christmas and it's working pretty well. Speaking of, I also got
Ecko ULTD. Headphones, because it's hip to be square.
Phantasy Star Portable because it's amazing.Phantasy Star Portable 2 because it's amazing, but even more so.Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! Season 2 and
Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! Season 3. Because I can scare people away with the cover art.

Other than that. Finals are finally over and I have a 3.2 GPA. So that's pretty boss. I'm really looking forward to my classes next semester. I've got: Literary Analysis, Fiction Workshop, Intro to Studio Arts, Weather and Atmosphere 1, and Art History 2. I'm not looking forward to Art History, I can tell you that much.

Also, I'm going to be working at Einstein brothers bagels on 28th and Canyon. So that's gonna be great. I'm going straight bagel overload.

So, I hope you all had some great holidays and I hope that everyone has a happy new year.

Oh hey, I have a blog. I almost forgot.

Hey everyone, I would say I'm sorry it's been so long, but in all odds, it was probably your fault, you jerk.

Other than that, I'm at the University of Colorado at Boulder. It's fine and all. Living in the dorms is alright, but I hate the people I have a shared bathroom with. They don't know how to clean anything, turn off any lights, or recycle. Plus they keep on smoking weed in their dorm room and putting a t-shirt underneath the door, because apparently that stops the smell of burning marijuana from exiting the room.

Classes are going fine. I recently just declared my majors in both Studio Arts and English. I can't wait to struggle to find work and wind up with enormous amounts of student loan-based debt!

That's all I have to say. Now I have to work on an outline for a paper on the Matrix and what it has to do with Hedonism. Try and figure that one out. Oh, you have? Well in that case, shut up.

Later (maybe).

Pictures from Japan (more of them).

What exactly do you think this will be?
My host sister, Nozomi.
My host sisters, Nozomi and Haruka, editing some Photobooth pictures.
Nozomi and my host mother enjoying the cuisine at Kathmandu restaurant.
My host family (Mr. Koiwai, Shinobu Koiwai (mother), Haruka (younger sister), and Nozomi (Older Sister), Neal, and I at Kathmandu for my last dinner.
All packed up and ready to go...
My class came to see me off. Thanks to all of you, I'll miss you all.

That's it. For now.

Shipping problems

Hey everybody, sorry I haven't updated in a little while, but I'll tell you what's been happening anyway.

First off, I got my laptop back from the repair shop: Good as slightly used! Now I can look at my webcomics and tech news without having to worry about wasting anyone's time but mine.

Also, my shipment arrived from Japan that I mailed to myself. I'm not sure what happened, but for some reason there was a fair amount of manga missing from it, covers were gone, and for some reason there were 17 copies of some sort of Korean periodical. Needless to say, I'm a bit peeved at the whole situation.

But wait! There's more! When I called U.S. Customs the woman behind the phone kept on yelling at me about how the Government doesn't make any mistakes whatsoever and that it would be impossible for them to open up a package and accidentally replace some of my things with contents from another package from Asia. Then she told me to call one of the incoming ports, so she gave me the number for JFK international airport, where you won't find any Asian parcels being processed.

Now, I'm not sure if it was tampered with in the US or not, but it was clearly tampered with. The entire bottom of the box was covered in shipping tape, when before there was none. If you any of you can help, I'd appreciate it. Yes, all four of you reading this.

Other than that fiasco, I've just been trying to find a job. It hasn't gone well (I still don't have one). Hopefully, things will happen, but so far it's a bit uncertain.

That's all for now. Check back later.
